Awakening Units

You can awaken certain units. Doing so will turn them into a much more powerful version.
Certain conditions are required for awakening:

- Unit is at max level.
- You must have the required awakening materials.
- You must have the required gil.

If you awaken a unit, its level will return to one.
Burst skill level transfers over as it was pre-awakening when awakening a unit.
There is a limit to the amount of times a unit can be awoken which varies by unit.

A unit's limit burst may change after awakening.
The max limit burst level is also increased.
When a unit's limit burst level rises, its effectivity improves.

Awakenable units will appear on the Select Base screen.
Unawakenable units will be grayed out and unselectable.

After you select a unit, its pre-awakening and post-awakening stats will appear on the Awaken Unit screen.
The unit's post-awakening image will only appear if you have obtained it in the past.
If you have any awakening materials, their icons and counts will appear in the Awakening Materials section at the bottom.
A ? is displayed over materials which you do not have.
The Awaken button will be tappable if you have all the required materials and gil.

Tap the button, and the awakening sequence will start.
Each unit has a unique message for you during its awakening sequence.
Tap anywhere on the screen to go to the post-awakening unit details screen.
