Espers

You can obtain espers by defeating the ones that appear in the main story or through various events.
There are many advantages to equipping espers including being able to use any magic or abilities they have learned, being able to call them forth via the evoke command, and receiving a boost to parameters equal to a percentage of the their own parameters.

You can develop espers separately from your units.
